Amanda M Thistle

Ms. Thistle graduated cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Ms. Thistle worked as a physical therapy technician where she learned about the rehabilitation of various orthopaedic and balance disorders. She also worked as a certified nursing assistant where she learned the true value of what it means to provide patients with the proper bedside manner. In 2011 she graduated at the top of her class from Western University with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduation, as Ms. Thistle is a Las Vegas native, she moved back to Las Vegas to work in family practice where she treated a wide range of illness and ailments from the common cold to heart disease and diabetes. In 2013 she moved on to pursue her passion for orthopaedics and began working for Dr. Baldauf. Ms. Thistle works closely with both Dr. Baldauf and Ms. Bell N.P. on a wide range of orthopaedic conditions with a focus on joint replacements of the shoulders, hips, and knees and sports medicine. She serves as the first assist in surgery and also performs a variety of in-office procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections. She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. Ms. Thistle enjoys working in this team effort of continuous collaboration in order to provide the best possible care for their patients.
